Nevada 2026 · Republicans, read this
Skip the Assembly and Democrats run everything.
Democrats already control the Legislature. Joe Lombardo's veto is the only thing that stops them. Vote for him, then vote Republican on every line down the ballot, or his veto is gone.
One seat from no check at all
Democrats already hold both houses. With two-thirds of each, they can override every veto. They are one seat short in each.
One Assembly seat and one Senate seat. That is all that stands between Democrats and a Legislature that can ignore the governor completely.
How a veto works
The veto is the last check. Your ballot decides it.
The governor says no
When Governor Lombardo vetoes a bill, it goes back to the Legislature. It does not become law unless lawmakers override him.
Overriding takes two-thirds
Both houses must vote to override: 28 of 42 in the Assembly and 14 of 21 in the Senate. One house is not enough.
Democrats are one seat away
In 2024 Republicans flipped an Assembly seat and ended the Democratic supermajority. One skipped line on your ballot can give it back, and the veto stops meaning anything.

The veto is the last check.
Democrats already run the Legislature. They hold 27 of 42 Assembly seats and 13 of 21 Senate seats. Governor Lombardo's veto is the one tool Republicans have left to stop them.
Win one more Assembly seat and one more Senate seat and Democrats can override him on every bill. His signature becomes a formality, and a vote for him that stops at the top of the ballot changes nothing.
bills vetoed by Governor Lombardo across the 2023 and 2025 sessions, more than any governor in Nevada history. Lose the veto and a bill the governor opposes becomes law anyway. Source: KTNV, "Gov. Lombardo vetoes most bills, breaks state veto record."
The part people skip
Vote Lombardo and skip the Assembly? He loses his veto.
Everyone sees the governor's race at the top. The Assembly race sits further down, and plenty of Republicans who vote for Lombardo skip it or pick the other party without thinking about what it means.
Assembly races in Nevada come down to a few hundred votes. A Republican who votes for Joe Lombardo and leaves the Assembly line blank has helped Democrats take away the one power he has to stop them.
Same ballot. Two more minutes. The whole veto.

About Rock Solid PAC
Keeping Nevada independent, free and open for business.
Rock Solid PAC exists to advance conservative principles in Nevada and to preserve the balance of power in Carson City, so that no single party can run the state unchecked.
Conservative principles. We support Republican candidates for the Nevada Legislature who stand for limited government, personal responsibility and the freedom to make your own choices.
A balance of power. Good government needs a check on power. When one party holds every lever, the protections for families and small businesses are the first thing to go.
Independent and free. Nevada has always done things its own way. We want it to stay that way: independent, self-reliant and free from one-size-fits-all control.
Business friendly. Nevada's jobs come from the people who start, build and run businesses here. We stand for a stable, predictable climate where they can grow and hire.
The count that matters
Two numbers decide whether Governor Lombardo's veto holds.
Every Republican who votes for Governor Lombardo and then votes for the Republican in the Assembly race keeps both numbers where they are. Every one who skips that line helps move them.
